Thunderball is the ninth book in Ian Fleming’s James Bond series, first published in 1961. In the novel, James Bond is tasked with tracking down two stolen atomic bombs that have been hijacked by the international terrorist organisation SPECTRE.

This is a first edition, published by Jonathan Cape in 1961, presented in its original dust jacket. The dust jacket was designed by renowned illustrator Richard Chopping.

The book is bound in black boards, featuring an embossed skeleton hand on the front board and gilt lettering to the spine. The dust jacket shows some minor age-related wear; however, both the book and jacket remain in excellent condition. The internal pages are bright and clean, with no foxing.

Overall, this is a highly collectible edition and an excellent addition to any James Bond collection.

This book is being sold for £250.
