Any set of Jane Austen’s work is a delight to have; this set in particular is a wonderful collection of all of Austen’s novels (that were published during and after her lifetime), as well some of her unfinished works.

This set was published in 1927 by Eveleigh Nash & Grayson Limited, and is their ‘Georgian Edition’. Each volume has an introduction by John Bailey, giving a brief insight into each of Austen’s works.

The five volumes in this set include all of Austen’s novels (Sense and Sensibility, Pride and Prejudice, Mansfield Park, Emma, Northanger Abbey and Persuasion), as well as her novella Lady Susan and an unfinished novel, The Watsons. Northanger Abbey, Persuasion, Lady Susan and The Watsons are included in one volume as they were all published after Austen’s death.

The books themselves come in a gorgeous blue binding with gold calligraphy titling on the spines. There is some foxing on the edges and the end papers of the books, but the text inside is clean and readable, and in a fairly large font.

This collection is perfect for any Austen fan or someone wanting a cohesive set (to gift or to keep for themselves!) of all of Austen’s novels - plus some bonus works! It is being sold for £300.
